Barcelona has exceptional weather but it’s so much more than just a sun-trap. Culture pours out of this street in a respected, nurtured way. Imagine Rome where the locals like their history and respect their antiquities. You’d be forgiven for thinking that Barcelona is a new-boy on the block compared to the capital of the Ancient Romans, but Barcelona pre-dates Rome by 200 years in Greek culture.

So what brings people to Barcelona? Depends who you ask really – it’s a financial capital, a manufacturing capital, a tourist magnet and a business hub. Like it’s always been, Barcelona, is a merchants paradise and a travellers treasure trove. Why? Because unlike most of stalwart Europe, Barcelona got it right – despite it’s history, traditions and culture, Barcelona actually bothered to embrace others.

So if you’re going anywhere, get yourself a flight, a car and hotel in Barcelona!

But what about a quick trip and a nice hotel stay in Paris, I hear you say? Or, say you, what about a classic hotel and a lively night in London? Glitzy Monaco with it’s Casinos and luxurious hotels? Or maybe other cities, with their distinctive styles and 10,000 year old city limits. Barcelona breaks with tradition by doing what we all love – history, food, and better. It infuses the best of current European by letting live alongside it’s old myriad of historic buildings and culture but sharing it’s respect and enthusiasm for both equally.

Dude – where’s my hotel in Barcelona? That’s up to you. If you want a sun holiday with a little culture on the side, why bother staying in the middle of nowhere when you can base yourself here and enjoy the 4.5km of beaches, on the Med – just like you have anywhere else in southern Europe. But you get so much more – I like to call it the history of the new. Barcelona’s tribute to our shared history but just done now. Food, Music, museums, architecture – all Spanish but all distinctively European-ly Spanish!

What you waiting for – get yourself to Barcelona?
